Inspicio Ltd will acquire the Geotechnical and Testing Services Division (GTS) of Bureau Veritas UK Holdings Ltd. GTS will sit within Inspicio’s Environmental Division, Environmental Scientifics Group (ESG), further strengthening its position as the UK market leader in Environmental Compliance.

The Geotechnical and Testing Services division of Bureau Veritas is one of the UK’s largest integrated providers of testing services offering a full ‘one stop shop’ service to customers spanning a range of sectors. With nine locations across England and Scotland, GTS offer a range of expertise, including geotechnical engineering; structural investigation; materials testing; soil testing; specialist metallurgy engineering and analytical chemistry.

The acquisition of GTS will add 254 staff and approximately £14m revenues to the Group and ESG have signed a preferred Supplier Agreement with Bureau Veritas which will maintain links going forward. The deal is expected to complete in December 2009.
